Salvation Testimony

I was blessed to be born into a Christian family. Both of my parents loved the Lord and brought me up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. My father pastored Burge Terrace Baptist Church and modeled what a godly dad and pastor should be like.
After church one Sunday morning I finally admitted that I was a sinner and that I could not get to Heaven without applying Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross to my sin account. On September 5, 1971, I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and to be my Savior. (Best choice I ever made.)

Call to Ministry

As a sixth grade boy, while listening to evangelist Bill Hall preach at the Christian School I attended, I surrendered to do whatever the Lord called me to do. From that point I have followed the Lord’s leading to serve Him.

Family

In the summer of 1985 I married my best friend and ministry partner.  The Lord has blessed Cindy and me with 4 children.  Micah has been in full time ministry for 2 years and married his wife Abby in 2015.  Kara married Adam in 2015 and Adam is a computer engineer in the tech industry.  Andrew is engaged to Marisa and they plan to be married in the spring of 2018.  Zach is a Junior in high school.
